Ink painting such as Sumi-e became known in Europe primarily through Zen Buddhism. It is usually painted only with black ink, although some images also feature red, creating a particularly appealing effect through its strong contrast. The meditative calm radiated by each image is conveyed to the viewer. This high-quality calendar belongs to the exclusive CALVENDO Gold Edition and features 12 beautiful images. We care about the environment. That is why we use only FSC-certified paper from responsibly managed forests. We avoid overproduction and significant waste by producing to order in individual runs in Germany (Made in Germany). We keep transport routes short and use climate-conscious logistics. The calendar consists of 14 pages: 1 cover, 12 monthly pages, 1 index page, and a cardboard backing. This successful calendar has been republished this year with the same images and an updated calendar layout.
