Description
- One of the densest exotic hardwoods in North America: Desert ironwood (Olneya tesota) is nearly twice as dense as oak and is valued by knife makers, woodworkers, and fine craftsmen for its exceptional weight, tight grain, and highly polished finish.
- Premium desert ironwood for woodworking: Create high-end projects with dense, exotic hardwood. These blanks are suitable for woodworking, woodturning, carving, lathe projects, tool handles, and custom crafts.
- Ideal for knife handle scales, pen blanks, pistol grips, and lathe turning: Measuring 17.8 x 5.1 x 5.1 cm, this versatile wood blank is suitable for multiple knife handle scales, pen-turning blanks, woodturning projects, pistol grip inserts, handle material, wood carving, tool handles, spacer blocks, and small decorative lathe projects.
- Unique natural grain and exotic character: Each ironwood block features distinctive natural grain with rich chocolate-brown coloring, golden tones, swirls, and figure, making every piece unique. This seasoned exotic hardwood resists warping and polishes beautifully without stabilization.
- Ready for crafts and custom projects: Each exotic wood block is kiln-dried, carefully selected, and ready for woodworking, custom creations, turning blanks, handmade gifts, arts and crafts projects, and premium woodworking applications. Actual grain and color naturally vary, giving each blank its own authentic appearance. Representative examples of sanded exotic hardwood blocks; individual blanks may vary in appearance.
