Designed to cut most materials. High-speed steel machine saw blade. Suitable for modern machines operated by trained users with a high degree of control. Correct blade tension is essential for ensuring a straight cut and long blade life. If the tension is too low, the blade will bend upward or twist, resulting in high stresses, increased blade wear, and uneven, crooked cuts. Excessive tension causes high stress in the blade and saw frame. As a general rule, harder materials require a lower stroke rate and higher feed pressure. If the chips burn, the feed pressure is too high. If cracks appear in the teeth, the feed pressure is too high. Fine, powdery chips indicate that the feed pressure is too low. Fine, curled chips indicate optimal feed pressure. The teeth must not touch the workpiece when the machine is started. A useful rule is that at least three teeth should be engaged at all times.
