Solid stainless steel glass door lock with a metal internal mechanism. Except for the plastic insert in the latch, which ensures quieter closing, the internal lock is free of plastic. The precisely fitted built-in clamp follower spring leaves the lock with virtually no lever handle play. Instead of the susceptible tension spring, this lock uses a considerably more effective compression spring. After the lever is operated, the strong compression spring returns to its original position, relieving the spring from tension and reducing the risk of spring breakage. Both lock covers have an internal retaining feature at the end so they do not protrude from the glass door leaf. The included adapter rings for 16 mm and 18 mm handle sleeves allow other lever handle pairs to be combined with the glass door lock. This high-quality glass door hardware set fits standard glass doors with studio lock drilling and office hinge drilling. This means two glass holes next to each other for the lock and two glass holes one above the other for the hinges; see the drilling diagram.
