These heavy-duty cranked hook-and-strap T-hinges are supplied as pairs and are designed for doors, gates, barn doors, sheds, and garages. The rectangular hook plate mounts to the post while the strap mounts to the gate, keeping the gate flush with the frame when closed. The strap can be lifted from the hook for maintenance. The iron hinges feature a weather-resistant, powder-coated and hot-dip galvanized zinc surface for indoor and outdoor use. Gates over 2.1 m should be fitted with a third hinge to help prevent warping.
