Solid stainless steel glass door lock with a metal interior mechanism. The interior lock is plastic-free apart from the plastic latch insert, which ensures quieter closing. The precisely fitted spring follower provides virtually no lever handle play. Instead of a susceptible tension spring, the lock uses a much more effective compression spring. After the lever is operated, the strong compression spring returns to its original position, relieving the spring. Both lock covers have an internal retaining feature at the end so they do not project from the glass door. The included adapter rings for 16 mm and 18 mm lever handle necks allow other handle pairs to be combined with the glass door lock. The high-quality glass door hardware set is suitable for standard glass doors with studio lock and Office hinge drilling: two adjacent holes for the lock and two vertically aligned holes for the hinges. The Office hinge rubbers hold a glass door weighing up to 55 kg per pair. Before installing the Office hinges, thoroughly clean the glass door with window cleaner or solvent to remove production residues.
