To connect, retract the collar on the female coupling and insert the male coupling fully. Release the collar to lock the couplings together. To disconnect, retract the collar on the female coupling and allow the male coupling to release. Caution: Under no circumstances should the couplings be connected or disconnected while the hydraulic system is under pressure. The couplings may become hot during use, up to +100C. Protective gloves should be worn when disconnecting. To reduce the risk of contamination, using protective plugs and caps on the couplings when disconnected is strongly recommended.
