FRAMO Acrylic XT (extruded) acrylic sheets are cut to size and manufactured to industrial quality. The highly transparent plastic glass is 3 mm thick and available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. They are highly transparent, glossy, and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets are flexible, easy to shape, and easy to process. They can be sawed, drilled, and bonded, making them ideal for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. Our extruded acrylic glass is manufactured using a complex extrusion process: acrylic granulate is heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. The sheets offer excellent light transmission, are ultra-transparent and fully clear, flexible or bendable, and highly resistant to breakage and impact. Compared with real glass, they are approximately 50% lighter. They are resistant to aging, weather, and UV exposure and remain yellowing-free for 2030 years. Sawing produces clean cut edges. Further processing options include drilling, cutting, bonding, and printing. Both sides are covered with a very thin transport-protection film, which should be removed before use. Please note that the manufacturing-related cutting tolerance is approximately 13 mm. Clean only with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dish soap; alternatively, use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
