FRAMO Acrylic XT (extruded) acrylic sheets are cut to size and made in industrial quality. The highly transparent, clear plastic glass is 2 mm thick and available in 1 cm increments from 10 10 cm up to 100 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. They are glossy, highly transparent, flexible, easy to shape, and resistant to breakage. The sheets can be sawn, drilled, cut, glued, and printed, making them suitable for replacing heavier and more expensive real glass. Acrylic XT is manufactured using an extrusion process in which acrylic granulate is heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. The material offers high light transmission, low weight compared with real glass (approximately 50% lighter), UV resistance, and resistance to yellowing for 2030 years. Sawing produces clean cut edges. Both sides are covered with a very thin transport-protection film, which should be removed before use. Please note that the production-related cutting tolerance is approximately 12 mm. Clean only with water and, if needed, a small amount of dishwashing liquid; alternatively, use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents such as acetone.
