FRAMO Acrylglas XT (extruded) acrylic sheets, cut to size in industrial quality. Highly transparent, colorless acrylic glass with a thickness of 3 mm, available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. They are glossy, highly transparent, and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets are flexible, easy to shape, and easy to process. They can be sawn, drilled, and bonded, making them suitable for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. FRAMO acrylic glass XT is manufactured using a complex extrusion process in which acrylic granulate is heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. The sheets provide excellent light transmission, are flexible and bendable, have high break and impact resistance, and weigh approximately 50% less than real glass. They are resistant to aging, weather, and UV exposure, and remain free from yellowing for 2030 years. Sawing produces clean cut edges. Further processing options include drilling, cutting, bonding, and printing. Both sides are covered with a very thin transport-protection film, which should be removed from both sides before use. Please note that the production-related cutting tolerance is approximately 13 mm. Clean only with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dishwashing liquid; alternatively, use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
