FRAMO Acrylic Glass XT (extruded) industrial-quality acrylic glass sheets cut to size. Highly transparent, colorless acrylic glass with a thickness of 2 mm, available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic glass sheets are characterized by high resistance to aging and weathering. The plastic glass is highly transparent, glossy, and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets are also flexible, easy to shape, and therefore easy to process. They can be sawn, drilled, and bonded. Ideal for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. Our Acrylic Glass XT (extruded acrylic glass) is manufactured using a complex extrusion process. Acrylic granules are heated and melted, then formed into sheets and rolled to the desired thickness. Product details at a glance: - Optimal light transmission: ultra-transparent, colorless, and completely clear - Flexible or bendable, with high break and impact resistance - Very low weight compared with real glass: approximately 50% lighter - Resistant to aging, weather, and UV radiation - Non-yellowing for 2030 years - Clean sawn edges Suitable for further processing, including drilling, cutting, bonding, and printing. Transport protection: The acrylic glass sheets are covered on both sides with an ultra-thin transport-protection film. Remove the film from both sides before use. Please note: Due to manufacturing tolerances, the finished cut may vary by approximately 12 mm. Care and cleaning: Clean with water only, adding a little dishwashing detergent if needed. Alternatively, use a plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
