FRAMO Acrylic Glass XT (extruded) is an industrial-quality acrylic sheet cut to your desired dimensions. The ultra-clear plastic glass is 2 mm thick and available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. They are ultra-clear, glossy, flexible, easy to shape, and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets are easy to process and can be sawn, drilled, cut, glued, and printed, making them suitable as a replacement for expensive and heavy real glass. The acrylic glass is produced using a complex extrusion process in which acrylic granulate is heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. It offers high light transmission, flexibility, high break and impact resistance, low weight compared with real glass, and resistance to aging, weathering, and UV radiation. It is described as non-yellowing for 2030 years. Sawing produces clean cut edges. Both sides are covered with a very thin transport-protection film; remove the film from both sides before use. Due to the manufacturing process, the cutting tolerance is approximately 12 mm. Clean with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dish soap, or use plastic or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents such as acetone.
