FRAMO Acrylic Glass XT (extruded) is a custom-cut acrylic glass sheet in industrial quality. The ultra-clear plastic glass is 2 mm thick and available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic glass sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. The material is ultra-clear, glossy, flexible, easy to shape, and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets can be sawn, drilled, glued, cut, and printed, making them suitable for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. Acrylic Glass XT is manufactured using an extrusion process in which acrylic granulate is heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. The sheets provide optimal light transmission, are lightweight compared with real glass (approximately 50% lighter), resistant to aging, weather, and UV radiation, and remain non-yellowing for 2030 years. Sawing produces clean cut edges. Both sides are covered with a very thin transport-protection film, which should be removed before use. Please note that the manufacturing-related cutting tolerance is approximately 12 mm. Clean only with water and, if needed, a small amount of dishwashing liquid; alternatively, use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
