FRAMO Acrylic XT (extruded) is an industrial-quality acrylic sheet cut to size. This highly transparent, colorless sheet is available in 4 mm thickness and in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets are highly resistant to aging and weathering, glossy, flexible, easy to shape, and highly resistant to breakage. They are suitable for replacing heavier and more expensive glass. The acrylic sheet is manufactured using an extrusion process in which acrylic granules are heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. It offers high light transmission, low weight compared with real glassapproximately 50% lighterand resistance to yellowing for 2030 years. Sawing provides clean cut edges. Both sides are covered with a very thin transport-protective film. Remove the film from both sides before use. Due to the manufacturing process, the finished cut tolerance is approximately 13 mm. Clean only with water and, if needed, a small amount of dish soap; alternatively, use plastic or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
