FRAMO Acrylic Glass XT (extruded) is an industrial-quality acrylic sheet cut to your desired size. The highly transparent, colorless material is 4 mm thick and available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. The glossy, highly transparent material has high break and impact resistance, is flexible, easy to shape, and easy to process. The sheets can be sawn, drilled, and bonded, making them suitable for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. They are approximately 50% lighter than real glass. Acrylic Glass XT is manufactured using a complex extrusion process in which acrylic granulate is heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. The sheets provide excellent light transmission, flexibility, low weight, resistance to aging, weathering, and UV radiation, and are designed to remain free from yellowing for 2030 years. Sawn edges are clean. Further processing options include drilling, cutting, bonding, and printing. For transport protection, both sides are covered with a very thin protective film. Remove the film from both sides before use. Please note that the production-related cutting tolerance is approximately 13 mm. Clean with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dish soap, or use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
