FRAMO Acrylic XT (extruded) is an industrial-quality acrylic sheet cut to size. The highly transparent 2 mm plastic glass is available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. They are highly transparent, glossy, and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets are also flexible, easy to shape, and easy to process. They can be sawed, drilled, and bonded, making them suitable as a replacement for expensive and heavy real glass. Acrylic XT is manufactured using an extrusion process in which acrylic granules are heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. Key properties include optimal light transmission (ultra-transparent, colorless, and fully clear), flexibility and bendability, high resistance to breakage and impact, and approximately 50% less weight than real glass. The sheets are resistant to aging, weather, and UV radiation, and remain free from yellowing for 2030 years. Sawing produces clean cut edges. Further processing options include drilling, cutting, bonding, and printing. Both sides are covered with an extremely thin transport-protection film; remove the film from both sides before use. Please note: Due to manufacturing tolerances, the finished cut may vary by approximately 12 mm. Clean only with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dish soap; alternatively, use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
