FRAMO Acrylic XT (extruded) acrylic sheets, cut to size in industrial quality. Highly transparent, clear acrylic plastic with a thickness of 2 mm, available in 1 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. FRAMO acrylic sheets are highly resistant to aging and weathering. They are glossy, highly transparent and offer high break resistance. The sheets are flexible, easy to shape and easy to process. They can be sawn, drilled and bonded, making them suitable for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. Acrylic XT is manufactured using a complex extrusion process in which acrylic granules are heated and melted, formed into sheets and rolled to the desired thickness. The sheets offer excellent light transmission, are ultra-transparent and colorless, flexible and highly resistant to breakage and impact. Compared with real glass, they weigh approximately 50% less. They are resistant to aging, weather and UV exposure, and remain non-yellowing for 2030 years. Sawn edges are clean. Further processing options include drilling, cutting, bonding and printing. Both sides are covered with an extremely thin transport-protection film; remove the film from both sides before use. Please note: Due to the manufacturing process, the cutting tolerance is approximately 12 mm. Clean with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dishwashing liquid, or use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
