Nylon is widely used as a screening material in aquaculture, flour processing, nylon screen printing, the pharmaceutical, chemical, dye, monosodium glutamate, fishing, and food industries, as well as other fields. Mesh indicates the number of openings per square inch. For example, 50 mesh corresponds to 50 x 50 openings per square inch, while 500 mesh means 500 x 500 openings. The higher the mesh count, the more openings the screen has. Mesh can also be selected according to particle size: the higher the mesh count, the smaller the particles. Note: The mesh fabric is supplied folded for packaging, with a folded length of approximately 98 cm. How to choose the filter fabric: - Soy milk is commonly filtered with a 100150 mesh/in screen. - Wine and tea impurities are commonly filtered with a 150200 mesh/in screen. First use a 100-mesh screen, then filter again with a 200-mesh screen. - Milk or juice is commonly filtered with a 200250 mesh/in screen. - Paint filters commonly use 80200 mesh/in: 80100 mesh/in for primer and 150200 mesh/in for topcoat. - Drinking water, suspended particles, and other fine materials are commonly filtered with screens between 300 and 400 mesh/in.
