AUPROTEC automotive wires in OEM quality, made in Germany. High-quality 1.5 mm FLRy automotive wire, available in 5 m or 10 m lengths. The AUPROTEC automotive wire has reduced insulation thickness for space-saving installation and is manufactured according to current high quality standards. The ECu copper conductor has an asymmetric construction and a purity level of 99.99%. The insulation is made of thermoplastic material with a Shore hardness of Sh90. Individual wires with a maximum diameter of 0.245 mm are used in the cable construction, making the wires highly flexible and resistant to cable breakage. Technical data: electrolytic ECu copper conductor, bare; nominal cross-section: 1.50 mm; outside diameter: 2.202.40 mm; individual wire diameter: max. 0.245 mm; rated voltage U~=50 V, U=60 V; temperature range, class A: 40C to +85C; free of silicone, cadmium, and lead; insulation: polyvinyl chloride (PVC); DIN 72551 / ISO 6722. Made in Germany. Note: Cross-section is not the same as diameter. Cross-section is an area measurement, while diameter is a length measurement. Cross-section A calculated from diameter d: d / 4. Diameter d calculated from cross-section A: 2 (A / ), with 3.14. Example for 2.5 mm cable: conductor diameter = 2 (2.5 / ) = 1.784 mm; conductor cross-section = 1.784 / 4 = 2.5 mm. Please also note that AUPROTEC automotive cables have reduced insulation thickness, meaning the PVC insulation is thinner than that of conventional cables while maintaining the same quality.
