The expansion plug consists of a gray nylon component for strong hold and a red, flexible component for optimal expansion. Its special rib geometry expands gently, making it suitable for near-edge anchoring and fastening in porous building materials without cracking the substrate. The preassembled countersunk screw is made of electrogalvanized steel and, together with the tapered plug collar, is particularly suitable for wood substructures. It can also be used to mount TV brackets, kitchen cabinets, and consoles in materials such as concrete, aerated concrete, vertically perforated brick, and perforated calcium silicate brick.
