The radiation shield slides onto the existing stove pipe with a 2 mm wall thickness. After installation, you must check that the heat shield is securely seated. If it is still loose in any way, it must be separately secured. The radiation shield must not be installed hanging downward or pointing sideways on horizontal pipes.
