This lightweight Faraday fabric is designed for RFID protection, radiation shielding, mobile-phone and Wi-Fi signal shielding, and electromagnetic shielding. It can be used for Faraday bags, RF enclosures, EMF barriers, signal-shielding room coverings or tents, as well as luggage and phone or card pouches. The fabric is easy to cut, sew and install, requires no maintenance, and is not affected by moisture. Suggested applications include sewing it into a wallet to help prevent credit-card data theft, making phone Faraday bags for RFID signal blocking, using it as an EMF shielding pad for laptops, or installing it as an underlay or curtain. It can also be installed behind drywall or beneath flooring. The source recommends hand washing: lay the fabric flat and use a soft brush to remove dirt. Do not wash frequently, rub the fabric, machine wash, bleach or tumble-dry. The source also lists use by pregnant women, babies, men seeking to reduce exposure when a laptop or phone is in direct contact with the body, and people exposed to radio waves, microwaves or other radiation sources.
