Face-milled cast aluminum plate EN AW-5083, film-covered, 8 mm thick, 300 mm wide, cut to size. The aluminum plate is sawn to your desired length. The plates are characterized by excellent dimensional stability. Thanks to extremely low internal stress, warping during and after machining is prevented. Rough milling, finish machining, and reworking are not required. Examples of applications include reference plates, inspection tools, and fixtures. This plate is used wherever excellent dimensional stability is essential. Rough milling and reworking are no longer necessary during machining. Technical data: - Thickness tolerance: 0.10 mm - Surface: Ra max. 0.40 microns - Flatness for thicknesses up to 15 mm: 0.35 mm/m - Flatness for thicknesses from 20 mm: 0.15 mm/m Note: If the plate is to be powder-coated, it must have a hole for hanging it in the coating system. This is technically essential. You can use our configurator to equip the plate with holes of your choice. If you order a plate with powder coating but without holes, we will make a 23 mm diameter hole in one corner. For very large plates, two holes will be made in two corners so that the plate can be hung level.
