This rich, luxurious Dupioni silk fabric has a shimmering appearance created by weaving threads made from two differently colored yarnspure silk and rayoninto a weave that appears to change color as the fabric moves in different lighting. Dupioni silk generally uses a range of bright colors in the weaving process. Choosing two different yarn colors provides the shimmering effect and gives the finished fabric a fresh drape. Silk Dupioni can be used for a variety of fabric creations. In apparel, it is suitable for flowing jackets, blouses, skirts, dresses, and bridal gowns.
