Description

• Double cylinder with security card and maximum pull and tear protection; core pull protection (KZS) on side a

The 3KSplus (3-curve system) features a unique, patented spring-free operating principle. Unlike conventional locking systems, the locking elements in the 3KSplus cylinder are moved by the milled curves on the key rather than being pressed against spring force. In detail, 12 unsprung, solid locking elements (locking pins) are moved into specific positions by the forced control of the 6 key curves and checked by 2 pressure sliders. A sidebar in the core checks the key's transverse profile. During the locking process, the 3KSplus key is checked a total of 4 timesthree times more than in other systems. The spring-free locking pin function ensures maximum wear resistance and picking protection. This technology enables countless configuration options for cylinder locking systems.
