Description

• Aluminum round tube, 48 x 3 mm: hollow, seamless, cylindrical metal profile by Metalxact, manufactured according to EN 573/755-1/-2/-8/-9.
• Easy to process: length tolerance of 5 mm; can be easily cut, drilled, fastened, and formed.
• Surface: untreated raw material with mill finish. Minor production- and storage-related scratches are customary and are not grounds for a complaint.
• Corrosion resistance: the AlMgSi0.5 alloy provides satisfactory corrosion resistance sufficient for many applications.
• Versatile use: the extruded round profile is used in railing construction, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, and model making.
• Material: EN AW-6060 (AlMgSi0.5), 3.3206; temper: T66.
• Further processing: weldable, anodizable, and coatable.
• Saw-cut edges are unfinished but deburred.
• Tolerances for delivery conditions, mechanical properties, and wall-thickness deviations according to EN 755-1/-2/-9.
