They are also highly breathable and, naturally, do not have a plastic coating, which can cause the disruptive noises mentioned above. Our dust mite protection covers absorb eight times more moisture than cotton, which prevents the often-feared feeling of sweating. For easy care, all covers have a maintenance-free zipper that opens and closes easily. To ensure complete dust mite impermeability, our dust mite protection covers can be boil-washed and are tumble-dryer safe; they do not need to be ironed. The dust mite protection covers do not replace regular bedding; they serve as intermediate covers. Your usual bedding should therefore be placed over these covers. It is sufficient to wash the dust mite protection covers every 34 months, while people with dust mite allergies should wash or change their regular bedding more frequently. In rooms where an allergy sufferer spends time or sleeps, it is advisable to equip all beds with anti-allergy intermediate covers, as otherwise complete protection cannot be guaranteedfor example, a double bed, siblings' beds, or children who frequently sleep in their parents' bedroom.
