Description

• Tested quality: galvanized industrial steel sling cable with a grade 8 eye hook, crimped with a loop; available in 514 mm diameters and 2100 m lengths.
• High safety standard: rated load is specified with a 5:1 safety factor relative to breaking force and crimped according to DIN EN 12385-4. For rolling loads, such as towing, the breaking force is the relevant basis.
• Versatile use: the loop is sized at 15 times the rope diameter, providing a large attachment area. The high breaking load also makes the cables suitable for forestry use.
• High-quality sling cable: one end is crimped with an eye hook for lifting or pulling suitable objects.
• Made in Germany: galvanized sling cables are manufactured by hand and crimped with hydraulic cable presses for comprehensive quality control.

Silver, galvanized steel wire rope available in 514 mm diameters, with a loop/thimble and a grade 8 eye hook. Our silver, electro-galvanized steel wire ropes comply with DIN EN 13414-1 and are classified as rope constructions 6 19 and 6 37, consisting of 6 strands with 19 or 37 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both flexibility and increased stability. One end of the wire rope is crimped with a loop sized at 15 times the rope diameter. In addition, the wire rope is fitted with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble and a grade 8 eye hook according to DIN EN 1677-1, with a safety latch and large eye. High safety standard: the rated load of the steel wire rope is specified using a 5:1 safety factor relative to the minimum breaking force and is crimped according to DIN EN 12385-4. From a rope diameter of 8 mm, the press sleeve is marked in accordance with this standard. Tested quality: only high-quality industrial steel is used for these wire ropes. Several in-house calibrated universal tensile-testing machines are used to provide comprehensive quality control. Versatile uses: the wire ropes are used for securing, lifting, and suspending suitable loads in areas including trades, bridge construction, engineering, and shipbuilding. Eye hooks and load hooks are suitable for attaching various objects and can also be used as forestry cables. Expansion options: the forestry cable can be tensioned with suitable turnbuckles and fastened with carabiners, shackles, or quick-link connectors.
