DR24 Acrylic XT (extruded) is an industrial-quality acrylic sheet cut to your desired size. This highly transparent, colorless, glossy plastic glass is available in thicknesses of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 mm and in sizes from 10 x 10 cm to 100 x 150 cm in 5 cm increments. The sheets offer high resistance to aging and weather, as well as UV resistance, high break and impact resistance, flexibility, and easy processing. They can be sawn, drilled, cut, glued, and printed, making them suitable for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. Compared with real glass, the sheets weigh approximately 50% less. They are resistant to yellowing for 2030 years and provide clean sawn edges. The acrylic XT is manufactured using an extrusion process in which acrylic granules are heated, melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. Both sides are covered with a thin transport-protection film, which should be removed before use. Please note that the manufacturing-related cutting tolerance is approximately 12 mm. Clean only with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dish soap; alternatively, use plastic or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
