DR24 Acrylic XT (extruded) is an industrial-quality acrylic sheet cut to size. The transparent plastic glass is available in thicknesses of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 mm and in 5 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm to 100 x 150 cm. DR24 acrylic sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. Duisburger-Rahmen plastic glass is ultra-clear, glossy and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets are also flexible, easy to shape and easy to process. They can be sawn, drilled and bonded, making them suitable for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. Acrylic XT is manufactured using a complex extrusion process: acrylic granules are heated and melted, formed into sheets and rolled to the desired thickness. Product details: optimal light transmission, ultra-clear and colorless; flexible and bendable with high break and impact resistance; approximately 50% lighter than real glass; resistant to aging, weather and UV exposure; non-yellowing for 2030 years; clean sawn edges. Suitable for drilling, cutting, bonding and printing. Both sides are covered with a very thin transport-protection film, which should be removed before use. Please note: due to manufacturing tolerances, the finished cut may vary by approximately 12 mm. Clean only with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dishwashing detergent; alternatively, use plastic or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
