DR24 Acrylic Glass XT (extruded) is an industrial-quality acrylic glass sheet cut to size. This ultra-clear plastic glass is available in thicknesses of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 mm and in 5 cm increments from 10 x 10 cm up to 100 x 150 cm. DR24 acrylic glass sheets offer high resistance to aging and weathering. Duisburger-Rahmen plastic glass is ultra-clear, glossy, and highly resistant to breakage. The sheets are also flexible, easy to shape, and easy to process. They can be sawn, drilled, and glued, making them suitable for replacing expensive and heavy real glass. Our Acrylic Glass XT is manufactured using a complex extrusion process in which acrylic granules are heated and melted, formed into sheets, and rolled to the desired thickness. Product details at a glance: optimal light transmission; ultra-transparent, colorless, and fully clear; flexible and bendable; high break and impact resistance; approximately 50% lighter than real glass; resistant to aging, weather, and UV exposure; resistant to yellowing for 2030 years; clean sawn edges. Suitable for further processing, including drilling, cutting, gluing, and printing. For transport protection, both sides of the acrylic glass sheet are covered with an extremely thin protective film. Remove the film from both sides before use. Please note: due to manufacturing, the cutting tolerance is approximately 12 mm. Clean only with water and, if necessary, a small amount of dish soap; alternatively, use plastic cleaner or glass cleaner. Avoid cleaning products containing strong solvents, such as acetone.
