The world is large, and your kingdom is small. Small compared with the world, that isit is moderately sized compared with other kingdoms. But in a large world like this onelarge compared with smaller worlds, if such things exist; moderate compared with worlds of roughly the same size; and a little small compared with worlds that are only a little largerwell, to make a long story shortshort compared with longer stories, anywayit is time to stretch your borders. You have heard of distant placesexotic lands where they have pancakes but no waffles, where people wear the wrong number of shirts, and where they do not even have a word for the look two people give each other when both hope the other will do something they both want done, but neither wants to do. Your gaze now turns toward these lands. This is the sixth expansion for Dominion. It adds 26 new Kingdom cards to Dominion, including 20 Actions, 3 Treasures, 3 Victory cards, and 3 Reactions. The central theme is cards that do something immediately when you buy or gain them. Dominion: Hinterlands is an expansion and cannot be played on its own; to play it, you need Dominion or a standalone Dominion expansion, such as Dominion: Intrigue First Edition. These provide the Basic cards needed to playTreasure, Victory, and Curse cardsas well as the complete setup and gameplay rules. Dominion: Hinterlands can also be combined with all other Dominion expansions you own. We hope you enjoy this growing world of Dominion!
