The Dieter Eisele pink Buttlffel saltwater rig is well suited for flatfish fishing. Fishing for flatfish with a Buttlffel on a light spinning rod is exciting, and playing the fish is enjoyable. For this type of saltwater fishing, Dieter Eisele offers a flounder rig with an integrated pink Buttlffel. Its bright color quickly attracts the attention of flounder, plaice, turbot, and other flatfish. The idea behind this flatfish rig is simple: the feeding competition already created by the Buttlffel is intensified by the lift presentation. The Buttlffel appears to repeatedly swim toward the upper bait, provoking competition among the flatfish and encouraging them to attack the bait even when they are not hungry. Due to wave action, changing bottom structure, and/or twitches of the rod tip, the saltwater rig works effectively underwater, so double catches are not uncommon. The rig can be used for drift fishing from a boat for flounder, as well as from the shore when flatfish are holding close to the bank. It features color-coordinated attractor beads, a worm stopper sequin, and a nickel-plated flounder spinner blade with reflective foil. The rig is wound onto a soft pad.
