diconfa SBR rubber strip, self-adhesive on one side with an adhesive layer. Top side: smooth. Bottom side: self-adhesive. Color: black. The strips have a thickness tolerance of +/- 10%, but at least +/- 0.2 mm; the length and width tolerance is 1.5%. The strips can be cut to size with a sharp utility knife. For straight cuts, a template or guide rail is recommended. The surface must be suitable for bonding and should be checked beforehand. The substrate must be dry and free of dust and grease. When bonding around curves, use a low material thickness; 0.5 to 2 mm is recommended. Rubber has the typical rubber odor, which may be familiar from new car tires. This odor will dissipate over time. For indoor use, extended airing outdoors is the only way to reduce the odor. The SBR rubber strips are designed for simple technical applications without high requirements for resistance to media, temperature, or similar conditions. The adhesive can generally be removed from the substrate after a short time; it is fully cured after approximately 24 hours. For bonding, remove the protective film. Warming the substrate and adhesive, for example with a hot-air gun, makes application easier and improves adhesion. Suitable applications include construction sites, cars, workshops, homes, gardens, terrace construction, replacement parts, garages, sanitary installations, heating, installation, DIY, crafts, model making, mechanical engineering, plant construction, and maintenance.
