diconfa SBR rubber strip with a one-sided, grid-reinforced adhesive layer. Top: smooth. Bottom: self-adhesive. Color: black. Weight: approximately 1.5 kg per millimeter of thickness and square meter; approximately 4.5 kg per square meter at 3 mm thickness. Thickness tolerance is +/- 10%, but at least +/- 0.2 mm; length and width tolerance is 1.5%. The strips can be cut to size with a sharp utility knife; a template or guide rail is recommended for straight cuts. The bonding surface must be suitable, dry, and free of dust and grease. For bonding around curves, use a low material thickness, recommended from 0.5 to 2 mm. Rubber has a typical odor, similar to that of new car tires, which dissipates over time. For indoor use, airing the product outdoors for an extended period may help. The strips are intended for simple technical applications without high requirements for media resistance, temperature resistance or similar properties. The adhesive can generally be removed from the surface after a short time and is fully cured after approximately 24 hours.
