Description

• 100% quality: SBR rubber strip, self-adhesive on one side, hardness 65 Shore A, weather-resistant, and suitable for universal use.
• Temperature-resistant from -30 to 80C; solid rubber, tear-resistant, with a non-slip surface.
• Dimensions: 1.5 mm thick, 10 mm wide, 2.8 m long; weight approx. 0.1 kg; dimensions can be easily modified.
• Suitable for industrial, logistics, commercial, and private applications, such as pads, supports, decoupling, insulation, soundproofing, damping, and seals.

• For bonding, the substrate must be suitable, dry, and free of dust and grease. Remove the protective film. Warming the substrate and adhesive, for example with a hot-air gun, makes application easier and improves adhesion.

Weight: approx. 1.5 kg per millimeter and square meter (4.5 kg per meter at a thickness of 3 mm). Tolerances: thickness tolerance of 10%, but at least 0.2 mm; length and width tolerance of 1.5%. The strips can be cut to size using a sharp utility knife. For straight cuts, we recommend using a template or guide rail. For bonding, the surface must be suitable; please check this in advance. The substrate must be dry and free of dust and grease. When bonding around curves, use a low material thickness; 0.5 to 2 mm is recommended. Rubber has the typical rubber odor that you may know from new car tires. This odor will dissipate over time. For indoor use, extended airing outdoors is the only way to reduce it. The SBR rubber strips are designed for simple technical applications without high requirements for resistance to media, temperature, and similar conditions. The adhesive can generally be removed from the substrate after a short time; it is fully cured after approximately 24 hours.
