diconfa SBR rubber strip, fiber-reinforced with polyester fabric inserts. Robust, resistant, and durable. Both surfaces are smooth, and the color is black. Weight: approximately 1.5 kg per millimeter of thickness and square meter; 4.5 kg per square meter at a thickness of 3 mm. Tolerances: thickness tolerance of 10%, but at least 0.2 mm; width tolerance of 1.5%; length tolerance of +2%. The strips can be cut to size using a sharp utility knife. For straight cuts, we recommend using a template or guide rail. The material can be bonded to nearly all surfaces with a suitable adhesive. Make sure the substrate is clean. Rubber has the typical odor of rubber, which you may know from new car tires. This odor will dissipate over time. For indoor use, extended airing outdoors is the only remedy; lay the material flat, protect it from sunlight, and keep it frost-free. If you are sensitive to odors, we also recommend EPDM for indoor areas, as its odor is significantly reduced. The SBR rubber strips are designed for simple technical applications without demanding requirements regarding media resistance, temperature, and similar factors.
