diconfa SBR rubber striprobust, resistant, and durable. Both surfaces are smooth, and the color is black. Weight: approximately 1.5 kg per millimeter of thickness and square meter; 4.5 kg per meter at a thickness of 3 mm. Tolerances: thickness 10%, but at least 0.2 mm; width 1.5%; length +2%. The strips can be cut to size with a sharp utility knife. For straight cuts, a template or guide rail is recommended. The material can be bonded to almost any surface with a suitable adhesive; ensure that the substrate is clean. Rubber has the typical rubber odor that may be familiar from new car tires, and this odor will dissipate over time. For indoor use, longer airing outdoors is the only remedy; lay the material flat, protect it from frost and direct sunlight. If you are sensitive to odors, EPDM is also recommended for indoor use because its odor is significantly reduced. The SBR rubber strips are designed for simple technical applications without high requirements regarding resistance to media, temperature, or similar factors. The material is not intended or suitable for uses involving contact with human skin. An information sheet on handling the supplied rubber strips is included with the delivery.
