diconfa white PTFE (Teflon) round rod supplied as raw material and a semi-finished product for machining. PTFE offers very good sliding properties and very high chemical resistance. The material is supplied in an unmachined condition, and the surface may show storage marks. The rod is saw-cut and deburred. Possible applications include machine parts, turned and milled components, seals, pipes, drilling templates, spacers, optical materials, strips, pump and valve bodies, and insulators. Properties include high mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness, abrasion and wear resistance, nonflammability, self-extinguishing behavior, good electrical insulation, very high chemical resistance, low water absorption, UV stability, and weather resistance. Technical values: density 2.12.3 g/cm, tensile strength 27.6 MPa, compressive strength 12.9 MPa, elongation at break 230%, and temperature range -200C to 260C.
