diconfa white PTFE (Teflon) round rod, supplied as raw stock for further processing. PTFE is a high-performance plastic with very good sliding properties and very high chemical resistance. The material is supplied raw with an unmachined surface and may show storage marks. The rod is roughly sawn and deburred. It is suitable for machine parts, turned and milled components, seals, piping, drilling templates, spacers, optical materials, strips, pump and valve bodies, and insulators. Additional properties include high mechanical strength, rigidity, hardness, abrasion and wear resistance, self-extinguishing behavior, good electrical insulation, low water absorption, and UV and weather resistance. Suitable applications include industry, skilled trades, art and design, decoration, furniture, model making, hospitality, trade show construction, mechanical and plant engineering, handrails, stair construction, food technology, and advertising and marketing.
