diconfa PROFILINE rubber strip made of EPDM/SBR with smooth surfaces on both sides. Color: light natural white. FDA-approved and compliant with EC 1935/2004 and 2023/2006, making it suitable for food contact. Weight: approx. 1.5 kg at 1 m length and 1 mm thickness. Hardness: approx. 60 +/- 5 Shore A. Specific gravity: 1.50 g/cm. Temperature range: -30C to +100C. Elongation at break: 350%. Tensile strength: 5 N/mm. The EPDM rubber strips are designed for medium to high technical requirements. The material is highly resistant to UV radiation, ozone, and weathering, making it suitable for outdoor use. Its very low inherent odor also allows indoor use; airing out is generally not necessary. Applications include underlay, impact protection, craft underlay, floor protection mats, strip curtains, decoupling, machine and equipment suspension, gasket production, door and gate sealing, surface protection, transport underlay, roofing, and more. Tolerances: thickness +/- 10%, but at least +/- 0.2 mm; width +/- 1.5%; length +2%. The strips can be cut to size using a sharp utility knife. For straight cuts, a template or guide rail is recommended. The material can be bonded to nearly all surfaces using a suitable adhesive. Ensure that the substrate is clean.
