Description

• MATERIAL: Dark gray PVC plastic rod, approximately RAL 7011. Suitable for further processing by turning, milling, sawing, welding, and drilling; cooling recommended. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• PROPERTIES: Very good chemical resistance; easy to weld; excellent for bonding, printing, and painting. Weather-resistant, self-extinguishing, and flame-retardant in accordance with DIN 4102 B1.
• SCOPE OF DELIVERY: Dark gray PVC round rod, 40 mm diameter; length 490 mm (0.49 m / 49 cm). Dimensions can be slightly modified. Diameter supplied with a positive tolerance of at least +0.2 mm.
• APPLICATIONS: Industry, trades, window and door installation, wall and facade elements, furniture, model making, trade show construction, mechanical and plant engineering, handrails, stair construction, food technology, and more.

Custom-manufactured dimensions: selectable lengths from 50 mm (5 cm / 0.05 m) to 1,000 mm (100 cm / 1 m), with diameters from 3 mm to 100 mm. The material is normally impact-resistant, has good chemical resistance, is durable, and is weather-resistant. It can be readily machined by turning, milling, drilling, and similar processes; cooling is recommended. Commercial applications include mechanical, plant, and apparatus engineering; air-conditioning and ventilation technology; lining and composite construction; structural engineering; logistics and storage technology; trade show construction; window and door installation; drywall; furniture construction; carpentry; and replacement parts. Private applications include model making, home and garden projects, repairs and maintenance, window repair, welding, door installation, raising furniture or supports, furniture construction, spacers, buffers, and stops. The material is high-quality industrial grade and is generally manufactured with a positive diameter tolerance. The sawing tolerance is 3 mm. The material may show storage marks.
