The diconfa gray fine-ribbed rubber mat is low-odor, robust, durable, and designed for high loads. When unpacked, it may smell like a new rubber mat; this odor usually dissipates quickly, although brief airing may be necessary. Air the mat outdoors, laid flat, frost-free, and protected from sunlight. Odors are perceived differently by different people. The mat can be bonded with a suitable adhesive to nearly all surfaces, provided the substrate is clean.
