diconfa acrylic tube made from transparent, crystal-clear polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) with very high light transmission. Available outer diameters range from 5 to 500 mm. Enter the required length using the Customize Now button; selectable lengths range from 100 to 2000 mm. Tolerances are 1 mm up to 30 mm diameter, 2 mm up to 100 mm diameter, and 3 mm up to 500 mm diameter. The material is supplied raw, with the surface protected by protective film from 30 mm diameter. The tube is saw-cut and deburred. It can be drilled, sawn, milled, and bonded. When cutting at high speeds, sufficient cooling is required because overheating caused by friction can make the acrylic begin to smear. This effect can be used for forming processes, as the material becomes rubber-elastic at approximately 150170C and can then be bent, stretched, expanded, or blow-molded. Select the desired outer and inner diameters under Material and the required length under Size. Suitable applications include lighting, LED technology, model making, trade show construction, furniture manufacturing, decorative items, and aquariums.
