diconfa acrylic tube made of transparent, crystal-clear plastic with very high light transmission. Material: polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). Available outer diameters range from 5 mm to 500 mm. Length tolerance: 1 mm up to a 30 mm diameter, 2 mm up to a 100 mm diameter, and 3 mm up to a 500 mm diameter. Supplied in a raw condition; the surface is protected by protective film from a diameter of 30 mm. Cut with a saw and deburred; length tolerance is -0/+5 mm. Temperature resistance: -20C to +80C. The material can be drilled, sawed, milled, and bonded. When cutting at high speeds, sufficient cooling is required because overheating caused by friction can make the acrylic glass smear. This effect can be used for forming processes, as the material becomes rubber-elastic at approximately 150170C and can then be bent, stretched, expanded, or blow-molded.
