Specifications: Peristaltic pump with a 500 motor featuring precious-metal brushes. After reduction, the motor drives three rollers, which alternately compress the silicone tube to transport liquids. Peristaltic pumps provide high pressure but a low flow rate. Due to the high delivery pressure, this pump is suitable for transporting viscous and non-viscous liquids such as ink and other viscous liquids. The transparent top cover provides visual monitoring of pump operation. The pump uses a three-roller design. The lower halves of the three rollers are gears. The large gears on the rollers and the small gear on the motor shaft create a reduction ratio. This is a relatively new design. Peristaltic pumps are characterized by low delivery capacity combined with delivery pressure. At 12V DC, the output pressure is consistent. However, when pumping water, a peristaltic pump may not be as quiet as a diaphragm pump because it can vibrate. Securing the pump before use is therefore recommended.
