The copper round rod is manufactured from deoxidized copper with material number 2.0090 and is a solid-material rod. This material has a limited residual phosphorus content and therefore offers very good weldability and brazability as well as resistance to hydrogen. It has excellent formability. Due to its distinctive chemical and physical properties, copper rod is often used as a semi-finished product. It can be easily further processed and is therefore used in the manufacture of various copper products. Copper has bactericidal properties and, even at low concentrations, is toxic to many microorganisms.
