Copper adhesive tape is a thin strip of copper coated with an adhesive. It is adhesive on one side and conductive on one side. It is a popular and widely used product, mainly due to its versatility and suitability for a wide range of tasks. It is also very flexible and can easily be adapted to the intended applications and installation environments. Copper tape works similarly to other standard tapes. However, the main difference is that it has a self-adhesive backing that must be removed before the tape can be applied to a surface. Copper adhesive tape is generally available in rolls of different lengths and can be easily cut with standard scissors or special cutting tools for a finer and more precise cut. Depending on the intended use, copper tape can work in different ways. It is used mainly for its conductive properties, while remaining convenient and easy to apply in a range of situations. Due to its excellent electrical conductivity, copper adhesive tape is particularly popular in electrical engineering. Applications include electromagnetic shielding; wrapping wires or cables; electrical conductors and contacts; housings of electrical devices; and instantaneous water heaters. Copper foil has the following properties: excellent electrical and thermal conductivity; excellent resistance to marine air, drinking water and service water, non-oxidizing acids and alkalis; and good cold and hot forming properties.
