Ball screw maintenance: Keep the ball screw properly lubricated and clean at all times. Before applying lubricant, whether grease or oil, ensure that the ball screw is thoroughly clean and dry. We recommend lubricating ball screws under normal loads every six months and those under high loads every three months. The appropriate lubricant depends on the operating conditions: machine oil or low-viscosity grease is suitable for light loads and high speeds; NLGI-1 or NLGI-2 grease is suitable for medium loads and speeds; high loads may require grease with an EP2 additive.
