Ball screw maintenance: A ball screw must be properly lubricated and kept clean at all times. Before applying lubricant, whether grease or oil, ensure that the ball screw is thoroughly clean and dry. We recommend lubricating ball screws with normal loads every six months and ball screws with heavy loads every three months. The specific lubrication method depends on various factors. - Light loads and high speeds are suitable for machine oil or low-viscosity grease. - Medium loads and speeds are suitable for NLGI 1 or NLGI 2 grease. - High loads may require grease with an EP2 additive.
